24staged (“24staged”, “we”, “us”) provides virtual staging for estate agents: you send photos of a vacant property and we return professionally staged images. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@24staged.com.
2. The information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver and improve the service:
- Account details — your name, work email, agency name and, where relevant, phone number.
- Listing content — the listing links, property photos and any styling notes you upload or send us so we can stage them.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits of a card), not full card numbers.
- Usage data — basic analytics about how the site and dashboard are used, plus technical data like device and browser type.
- Communications — messages you send us and our replies.
3. How we use it
- To stage your listings and deliver them to your dashboard.
- To create and manage your account and process payments.
- To respond to you, send service messages, and (only with consent) occasional product updates you can opt out of at any time.
- To maintain security and prevent misuse.
- To understand and improve the service.
4. Legal bases
Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service); our legitimate interests (to run and improve the business and keep it secure); your consent (for optional marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run 24staged — for example hosting and storage, our payment processor, email delivery, analytics, and the image-editing tools used to produce staged photos. These providers act on our instructions under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. International transfers
We serve agents in the UK, US, Canada and beyond, so data may be processed outside your country. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution needs. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@24staged.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site and, where applicable, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the site works.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any issue.
11. Children
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, let you know directly.
